Welcome to the Patrik Elias Jersey Retirement Night Game-Worn Jersey Auction!
The New Jersey Devils honored one of their all time greats on Saturday, February 24 when they retired the Number 26 jersey of Patrik Elias prior to their 2-1 victory over the New York Islanders at Prudential Center.
Elias, the franchise's all-time leader in points, goals and assists, joined Ken Daneyko (3), Scott Stevens (4), Scott Niedermayer (27) and Martin Brodeur (30) as the only members of the club to have their jersey numbers retired and hanging in the rafters. After 20 seasons with the Devils, Elias retired in March of 2016 and skated #PattysLastLap on April 8, 2016, a farewell tribute to his fans in New Jersey.
The Devils-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual jersey worn by #8 Will Butcher of the New Jersey Devils throughout the Devils' 2-1 victory over the Islanders.
To honor Elias, the Devils wore one unique set of jerseys throughout the game with a No. 26 Retirement Night patch affixed to the right breast.
