Denver Nuggets rookie guard R.J. Hampton wore this white adidas jersey while playing for LIttle Elm High School during its 2017-18 basketball season.
As a sophomore in 2017-18, Hampton averaged 30.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, six assists, 4.4 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game, leading Little Elm to a 28-8 record. He earned MaxPreps Sophomore All-American first team, USA Today All-Texas First Team honors, and TABC 5A All-State recognition.
Hampton was initially selected 24th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks, and was traded to the Nuggets in a four-team deal involving the New Orleans Pelicans and the Oklahoma City Thunder. He signed with the Nuggets on December 1, 2020 and made his NBA debut in a 124-111 victory over the Houston Rockets on December 28, 2020, scoring two points in 4:07.
