Welcome to MeiGray's 2022 Black History Month Charity Auction. To honor the black players who have played in the National Hockey League, past and present, MeiGray is auctioning off a selection of jerseys and equipment from contemporary black NHL players.
All proceeds will be donated to the United Negro College Fund. UNCF funds scholarships for black students and general scholarship funds for 37 private historically black colleges and universities.
Every winning bidder from this auction will also receive a signed copy of "Shut Out: The Game That Did Not Love Me Black," the autobiography of former Quebec Nordiques winger Bernie Saunders.
Saunders was the fifth black player to play in the NHL, and is a close friend of MeiGray co-founder and President Barry Meisel, who co-wrote Saunders' important autobiography.

Subban started one game for Boston in this jersey, playing the first half of a 5-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Oct. 25, 2016 at TD Garden in Boston.
Subban, the younger brother of PK Subban, recorded a .917 save percentage and a 2.41 goals-against average in 32 games for the Providence Bruins in 2016-17.
