The Boston Bruins and Calgary Flames faced off on September 15 and 19 in the 2018 O.R.G. NHL China Games. The Bruins wore white and defeated the Flames, 4-3 in overtime, at Shenzhen Universiade Sports Center in Shenzhen on September 15. They wore black and defeated the Flames, 3-1, on September 19, 2018 at Cadillac Arena in Beijing.

The Bruins wore one new set of jerseys throughout the entire game, with the China Games Patch affixed to the right breast of the jersey.
This white jersey is a Size 56 and is registered into the MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number R00006.
Each item was authenticated by a Bruins-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program Director immediately after it was used. Each jersey has been security-tagged, serial-numbered, and registered into the NHL-MGG Population Report.
The Bruins' partnership with China-based O.R.G. Packaging has stimulated their involvement in growing hockey in China, which started with their hosting of 30 Chinese Youth Hockey players from the Beijing Hockey Association during O.R.G. Packaging Night in 2016. The 2018 International Games marked the Bruins' third trip to China.
