This pair of Training Sneakers has been exclusively authorized for authentication and distribution by the Connor McDavid-Edmonton Oilers-MeiGray Group Game-Used Equipment Program, designed to protect the integrity of the budding NHL superstar's game-used items.
These sneakers are a Size 10, and are navy with orange stripes and orange laces. They match the Navy Alternate Jersey the Oilers introduced for the 2019-20 NHL season. A navy sticker with the Oilers' logo and McDavid's No. 97 is affixed to the back of each sneaker.
This pair of Training Sneakers has been registered with hologram number MGA14236. The hologram has been affixed to the inside of the left shoe, on the underside of the tongue.
Every jersey worn by each of these participating MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program clubs contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MGG Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
