The Edmonton Oilers-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history... a pair of gloves worn by #97 Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers during the 2021-22 National Hockey League regular season and 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
These CCM Gloves were worn by Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers during the 2021-22 National Hockey League regular season and 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The gloves are photo-matched to 11 games from April 26, 2022 through June 4, 2022: April 26 and 28; May 6, 8, 18, 22, 26; and June 2 and 4.
In the 11 games, McDavid scored one goal with four assists in two regular-season games, and four goals with nine assists in nine post-season games. McDavid was wearing these gloves when he scored his 44th and final goal, 79th and final assist, thus the 123d and final point of a regular season in which he won his fourth Art Ross Memorial Trophy.
On May 24, 2022, McDavid extended his multi-point streak to seven games while using these gloves, tying Darryl Sittler (Toronto Maple Leafs, 1977) and Tony Currie (St. Louis Blues, 1981) for second-longest in NHL history; Wayne Gretzky had an eight-game streak with the Oilers in 1983.
On May 26, 2022 McDavid became the second Oiler to score a series-clinching overtime goal in Battle of Alberta playoff history, joining Esa Tikkanen (1991). Calgary has not won a best-of-7 series over Edmonton since 1986.

The gloves, collected by MGG from the Oilers on July 27, 2022, has been registered with hologram number MGA32150.
McDavid's goal, assist and point totaks were career-highs until he obliterated those numbers in 2022-23 when he scored 64 goals, 89 assists and 153 points.
