MeiGray has teamed up with the Professional Women's Hockey League to bring fully authenticated jerseys from its inaugural season to fans and collectors as the league's popularity continues to skyrocket.
Sarah Lefort wore this cream jersey while playing for PWHL Montreal during the Professional Women's Hockey League's inaugural 2024 season, including during the team's inaugural game against PWHL Ottawa on January 2, 2024 at TD Place in Ottawa, ON. Montreal won the game in overtime, 3-2, in front of a sellout crowd of 8,138, which set a new attendance record for professional women's hockey. The jersey is photo-matched to that game.
PWHL Montreal wore this first set of cream jerseys in seven games from January 2, 2024 through February 21, 2024.
Lefort scored one goal with four assists without missing a game in 2024. The Quebec native served as an alternate captain of the Montreal Force last season and finished third on the team with seven goals in 17 games. She also played three seasons in the PWHPA, winning a Canadian Secret Cup with Team Bauer in 2021, and three seasons in the CWHL, winning a Clarkson Cup with the Montreal Canadiennes in 2017. Playing at Boston University, Lefort was a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award in 2014 after scoring 32 goals and 55 points in 38 games. She won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2012 IIHF U18 World Championship.
