Sarah Bujold wore this cream jersey while playing for PWHL Montreal during the Professional Women's Hockey League's inaugural 2024 season, including during the team's inaugural game against PWHL Ottawa on January 2, 2024 at TD Place in Ottawa, ON. Montreal won the game in overtime, 3-2, in front of a sellout crowd of 8,138, which set a new attendance record for professional women's hockey.
The jersey is photo-matched to Montreal's 5-2 victory over PWHL New York on January 10, 2024 at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY. PWHL Montreal wore this first set of cream jerseys in seven games from January 2, 2024 through February 21, 2024.
The jersey has an unrepaired hole in the left sleeve.
Bujold scored three goals with one assist in 21 games in 2024. A native of New Brunswick, Bujold joins PWHL Montreal after scoring 10 goals and 20 points in 23 games with the Metropolitan Riveters of the PHF in 2023. She also brings professional experience the SDHL, where she scored in the top two on her teams from 2020-2022. The St. Francis Xavier University graduate was awarded the Brodrick Trophy for the USports Player of the Year in 2017.
