Philipp Grubauer wore this mask while playing for the Seattle Kraken during their Inaugural Season from March 30, 2022 to May 1, 2022.
Grubauer did the Kraken's design justice, and then some, with this mask. "Grubi" is painted onto the chin of the mask, with anchors and the Kraken's tentacled "S" painted in oversized fashion on each side in pearlescent dark blues, reds and light blues. "KRAKEN" is painted in the same font over the top of the head. The back of the mask features several logos and designs personal to Grubauer, including the name "STENZ," the letters "ISP" and paw prints.
This Goalie Mask is registered into the Kraken-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number MGA32300.
Every jersey worn by each of the participating MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program clubs contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MGG Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
