P.J. Tucker wore these Size 14 Nike Adapt BB 2.0 Promo Sample shoes while playing for the Houston Rockets during the 2019-20 NBA regular season.
These shoes are photo-matched to the Rockets' 125-112 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on January 29, 2020 at Moda Center in Portland, OR. Tucker, known as the NBA's undisputed sneaker king, scored five points with nine rebounds in the game. Tucker wore two other pairs of shoes in the game.
The Nike Adapt BB 2.0 represents the pinnacle of sneaker technology. Taking inspiration from the self-lacing Nike Air Mags worn by Marty McFly in the 1989 film "Back to the Future 2," the Adapt BB 2.0 features automatic lacing adjustable via both a mobile app and buttons on the midsole. The shoe also features a TPU upper and Zoom Air Turbo cushioning. The US charging base is included with the shoes.
These shoes are a promo sample version of the Black/Bright Crimson/White colorway released to the public on February 16, 2020. The black upper features a white Swoosh and Bright Crimson detailing on top of an icy blue outsole.
