Nikita Kucherov wore these gloves while playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League between 2016 and 2021 during games and/or practices.
During the life of these gloves, the Tampa Bay Lightning grew into a powerhouse. From missing the playoffs in the 2016-17 season, to winning the President's Trophy and suffering a sweep in the 2018-19 season, to fighting their way to back-to-back Stanley Cup wins in 2020 and 2021, the story of this team during these years is one of incredible skill and indomitable spirit.
A rising star in the NHL, Kucherov produced his greatest efforts yet in the 2018-19 season. With 41 goals and 87 assists, Kucherov's 128 points earned him the Art Ross Trophy for the NHL's top scorer. He was awarded the Ted Lindsay Award for the most outstanding player as selected by the NHL Player’s Association, as well as the Hart Memorial Trophy for the most valuable player as selected by members of the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association. In 2020 and 2021, he brought home the greatest trophy of all: the Stanley Cup.
These gloves are autographed by Nikita Kucherov and the autograph comes with a Certificate of Authentication with a hologram from the Tampa Bay Lightning organization. MeiGray does not verify the authenticity of autographs.
