Nick Palmieri wore this red jersey with the KR-AV Patch while playing for the New Jersey Devils on Opening Night of the 2011-12 National Hockey League season.
This jersey has the KR-AV Memorial Patch in memory of Karel Rachunek and Alexander Vasyunov, who were among those that lost their lives in the tragic 2011 plane crash involving Lokomotiv Yaroslav. in Russia.
The Devils lost the game to the Philadelphia Flyers, 3-0, on October 8, 2011 at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
The jersey exhibits black marks and board burns and was autographed on the crest by the entire Devils team after the game.
As warranted to us by the owner, the original LOA for this jersey has been lost. A MeiGray lost letter will accompany this jersey.
