Welcome to the Inaugural Professional Women's Hockey League Evaluation Camp-Worn Jersey Auction.

The PWHL-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the Jersey worn by #29 Marie-Philip Poulin of the PWHL Montreal during the inaugural PWHL Player Evaluation Camp.

The six PWHL teams descended upon Utica, NY's Nexus Center for four days of exhibition games, with each team playing three games. MeiGray staff was in attendance to authenticate when these jerseys were worn, and to take them straight off the ice. Now, you can add a piece of this historic event to your collection - or start your collection!

Marie-Philip Poulin wore this red jersey while playing for PWHL Montreal during the Inaugural PWHL Player Evaluation Camp.

PWHL Montreal played three games during the Evaluation Camp, falling 4-1 to New York on December 4, defeating Boston 3-2 on December 5, and losing 4-3 to Minnesota on December 7.

Poulin was wearing this jersey when she scored a shootout goal in Montreal’s first game of the exhibition camp on December 4, 2023 against PWHL New York at the Nexus Center in Utica, NY. Skating down the slot, Poulin deceptively weaved the puck in front of her, forcing New York goaltender Abbey Levy to stand her ground or commit too early. At the bottom of the circles, Poulin drew the puck to her right, allowing her to elevate the puck with a backhander past Levy’s straining glove. Poulin’s goal helped Montreal capture their first shootout win of the camp.

Poulin was wearing this jersey again when she scored a goal in Montreal’s final game of the week on December 7, 2023 against PWHL Minnesota at the Nexus Center in Utica, NY. Entering the zone on the rush, Poulin got to the slot to accept a pass from Catherine Dubois. Almost instantly, she released a powerful wrister past Minnesota goaltender Lauren Bench’s blocker. Montreal's second goal of the game, it drew the team back within one midway through the second. In the third, down two goals and on the powerplay, Poulin carried the puck into the offensive zone and sent it between three Minnesota skaters to the stick of Tereza Vanisova on the far side of the ice. Vanisova tucked away Montreal’s third of the game, closing the gap again to a single goal with half of the third remaining to play. Minnesota took the hard-fought 4-3 victory, but Poulin was named the Second Star of the Game for her performance.

One of the greatest hockey players Canada has ever produced, Poulin was one of the three players PWHL Montreal signed prior to the inaugural draft. The captain of the Canadian national team since 2015, she has earned three Olympic gold medals and one silver medal along with eleven IIHF World Championships medals. Unusually, Poulin began playing in the CWHL at age 17, when she was named Rookie of the Year. She won a Clarkson Cup the following season before matriculating to Boston University, where she was a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award in her senior year. Returning to the CWHL, Poulin took home two more Clarkson Cups, three scoring titles, and three MVP awards, and finished fifth all-time in the league for goals, assists, and points. In 2023, she won a Secret Cup with Team Harvey's of the PWHPA.
