Desbiens posted a 2.30 goals against average and a .915 save percentage with one shutout in 16 games during 2024. She was one of the first three players that PWHL Montreal signed to a contract prior to the inaugural draft. She is the current starter for the Canadian national team, most recently earning the Directorate award for best goaltender at the 2023 IIHF World Championship and backstopping Team Canada to a gold medal at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Desbiens was a top-three finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award in 2016 before winning the award in 2017. She has won championships in the CWHL in 2012 and the PWHPA in 2023.
