MeiGray has teamed up with the Professional Women's Hockey League to bring fully authenticated jerseys from its inaugural season to fans and collectors as the league's popularity continues to skyrocket.
Rachel McQuigge wore this red jersey while serving as the back-up goaltender for PWHL Ottawa during the Professional Women's Hockey League's inaugural 2024 season. McQuigge also dressed for pregame introductions prior to the team's inaugural game against PWHL Montreal on January 2, 2024 at TD Place in Ottawa, ON. Montreal won the game in overtime, 3-2, in front of a sellout crowd of 8,138, which set a new attendance record for professional women's hockey.
PWHL Ottawa wore this first set of red jerseys in nine games through March 23, 2024.
The Princeton University graduate posted nine shutouts in her collegiate career and never had a goals against average of more than 1.88. She appeared in eight games for the Metropolitan Riveters in 2022-23 and was the back-up goaltender in four games for PWHL Ottawa in 2024.
