The Connor McDavid-MeiGray Game-Used Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history... a stick used by #97 Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers during the 2022-23 National Hockey League season and 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Connor McDavid used this CCM JetSpeed FT5 stick while playing for the Edmonton Oilers during the 2022-23 National Hockey League regular season and 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. It is photo-matched to five Oilers games:
--A 6-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks on April 8, 2023 at SAP Center in San Jose, CA. McDavid scored two goals during the game, the latter of which was McDavid's 150th point of the 2022-23 NHL season and his career-high 64th goal in a single season, and one assist during the game. This stick is photo-matched to McDavid's celebration of both of his goals during the game.
--A 2-1 overtime victory over the Colorado Avalanche on April 11, 2023 at Ball Arena in Denver, CO. McDavid registered one assist during the game.
--A 5-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on April 13, 2023 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB, Canada. McDavid registered one assist during the game, which was his career-high 89th assist and 153rd point in a single season.
--A 4-3 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings on April 17, 2023 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
--A 4-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on April 19, 2023 in Game 2 of the Western Conference First Round at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB, Canada. McDavid registered one assist during the game.
Please note that there is a partial break near the heel of the blade. The break has not severed the stick into two pieces, and the break has been reinforced with clear hockey tape, as visible in the provided photos.
MeiGray took possession of this stick directly from the Oilers on December 20, 2023. It has been registered with hologram number MGA82764. The hologram has been affixed near the top of the shaft. The blade of this stick has been retaped multiple times.
