To celebrate the eight years of history created by the Premier Hockey Federation, its players, and its staff, and in advance of the inaugural season of the Professional Women's Hockey League, MeiGray is hosting its final PHF auction, aptly named the PHF Finale Game-Worn Jersey Auction. This auction is comprised of jerseys worn by the league's elite players in 2022-23, many of which were not previously released to the public, so take your final shot and bid now!

Shannon Turner wore this Blue Set 1 jersey while playing with the Connecticut Whale during the 2022-23 Premier Hockey Federation Season. It includes the captain's "C".
Turner was wearing this jersey when she reached 40 career assists and 50 career points on January 22, 2023 against the Toronto Six at Canlan Sport Complex in York, ON. Turner made the 40th assist of her PHF career at 5:06 in the first period on a goal from Alyssa Wohlfeiler, which opened the scoring. In the second, Turner assisted a power play goal from Caitrin Lonergan to tally her 50th career point. Both assists were primary, and Connecticut went on to win the game 4-1. It was the Toronto Six franchise's first regulation loss at home.
In the 2022-23 season, Turner played in 23 games for the Whale. She tallied seven assists and earned 12 penalty minutes, then added two assists in three games during the Isobel Cup Playoffs. Turner was awarded the league's Foundation Award for the player who shared the core values of hockey with her community to help grow and improve hockey culture. It was her second time being selected for the award.
One of only five athletes to play in the NWHL/PHF in every year since the inaugural season, Turner retired at the end of the 2022-23 season third all-time in games played (132) and fourth all-time in penalty minutes (122). Over her eight seasons in the league, the defensive defender accumulated nine goals and 43 assists. She finished eighth in league history in assists and third among blueliners. Turner remains the games-played leader for the Connecticut Whale, having spent her entire pro career with the franchise. As the Whale's captain since the 2019-202 season, she was the face of the team and one of the most prominent leaders in the league.
The Connecticut Whale wore their Blue Set 1 jerseys throughout the regular season from December 3, 2022 to January 22, 2023.
