This is the puck used by Boston Pride forward Loren Gabel to score the first goal of Canada's 2-1 shootout victory against the United States in the opening game of the 2023 PHF All-Star Showcase. The goal was Gabel's first of a three-goal, four-point performance that earned her Most Valuable Player honors in the event. It was assisted by Mikyla Grant-Mentis and Brittany Howard.
The 2023 PHF All-Star Showcase took place at Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, ON. Formerly known as Maple Leaf Gardens, the first home of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the venue is now home to Toronto Metropolitan University..
