Laura Stacey wore this maroon jersey while playing for PWHL Montreal during the Professional Women's Hockey League's inaugural 2024 season. The jersey is photo-matched to Montreal's 3-2 overtime loss to PWHL Boston on January 13, 2024 at Verdun Auditorium in Verdun, QC.
PWHL Montreal wore this first set of maroon jerseys in eight games from January 13 through March 10, 2024.
One of Montreal's three initial signings before the inaugural PWHL draft, Stacey is a two-time Olympian and gold medalist with Team Canada. Stacey tied for the team lead with 10 goals (which also tied for third in the league) and added eight assists. Her 18 points The former Dartmouth captain was the Rookie of the Year in the CWHL in 2017, then won a championship with the Markham Thunder in 2018. She has earned five medals at IIHF World Championships including two gold medals.
