John-Michael Liles wore this white jersey with the Milt Schmidt Memorial Patch while playing for the Boston Bruins during the 2016-17 National Hockey League season. It also includes the NHL Centennial patch.
The Milt Schmidt Memorial patch honors the Hall of Fame centerman who died on January 4, 2017. The only Bruin in franchise history to serve as on-ice captain, coach, and general manager, Schmidt led the Bruins to Stanley Cups in 1939 and 1941 before serving Canada in World War II. At age 98, he was the oldest living NHL player at the time of his passing.
Liles had five assists in 36 games for the Bruins in 2016-17.
This jersey has an unrepaired hole on the left sleeve.
