The PWHL-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the jersey worn by #3 Jocelyn Larocque of the PWHL Toronto during the Professional Women's Hockey League's inaugural 2024 season.
MeiGray has teamed up with the Professional Women's Hockey League to bring fully authenticated jerseys from its inaugural season to fans and collectors as the league's popularity continues to skyrocket.
Jocelyne Larocque wore this blue jersey while playing for Toronto during the Professional Women's Hockey League's inaugural 2024 season, including during the first game in the league's history against PWHL New York on January 1, 2024. New York won the game, 4-0, in front of a sellout crowd of 2,537 at Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, ON. The jersey is photo-matched to pregame warm-ups prior to the inaugural game and to Toronto's 2-1 victory over PWHL Boston on March 20, 2024 at Mattamy Athletic Centre.
PWHL Toronto wore this first set of blue jerseys in eight total games: from January 1 through February 23 and on March 20, 2024.
The jersey's size tag has been removed. The jersey has two unrepaired holes in the right sleeve.
Larocque was part of perhaps the best defensive pairing in the league in 2024 along with Renata Fast, tallying one goal with nine assists in 23 games. In 18 of her 23 games, she was on ice for at least 25 minutes. Larocque is a longtime veteran of Team Canada's senior team, having scored four goals with 31 assists in 105 games with the team with two Olympic Gold Medals and four IIHF World Championships Gold Medals.
