MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual jersey worn by #21 Jim Becker of the FDNY Hockey Team.
All proceeds of this auction will be donated to the Ray Pfeifer Foundation, which assists first responders with medical expenses not covered by insurance as a result of 9-11.
Jim Becker of Engine Co. 309 wore this cream jersey while playing for the FDNY Hockey Team during their 6-5 victory over the NYPD Hockey Team on April 20, 2024 at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY.It includes the captain's "C." The jersey is photo-matched to a game photo taken by Troy Parla.
For the 50th Annual FDNY vs. NYPD Game, the FDNY Hockey Team wore off-white vintage-style uniforms accentuated by black "NYFD" letters on the front and numbers on the sleeves with red accents. The nameplates keep with the vintage theme, with white lettering on a black bar. Inside the collar, five numbers are found. Four are numbers retired by the team, and the fifth is 343, the number of firefighters who died during rescue efforts on September 11, 2001.
This jersey is a Size LG and is registered into the MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number MGG009284.
