Welcome to the Seattle Kraken Winter Classic Jersey and Stick Auction!
The Kraken defeated the Vegas Golden Knights, 3-0, in the 2024 Winter Classic at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, WA. It was the first time either team had participated in the Winter Classic, and the Kraken earned the first shutout in the history of the event.
The Kraken's jerseys paid homage to the first American team to win the Stanley Cup: the Seattle Metropolitans. The barber pole striping and letters inside the large S are inspired by the championship-winning team of 1917. While the blues and red of the stripes were updated to the Kraken's colors, the off-white stripe and the texture of the logo were chosen to reflect the textiles of the last century.
The Kraken-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual jersey worn by #24 Jamie Oleksiak of the Seattle Kraken in the Team Photo Shoot on New Year’s Eve during practice day prior to the Kraken’s 3-0 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on January 1, 2024.
This jersey is a Size 60 and is registered into the Seattle Kraken-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number W04319.
Every jersey worn by each of these participating MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program clubs contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MGG Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
