Welcome to the Inaugural Professional Women's Hockey League Evaluation Camp-Worn Jersey Auction.

The PWHL-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the jersey worn by #14 Jaime Bourbonnais of the PWHL New York during the inaugural PWHL Player Evaluation Camp.

The six PWHL teams descended upon Utica, NY's Nexus Center for four days of exhibition games, with each team playing three games. MeiGray staff was in attendance to authenticate when these jerseys were worn, and to take them straight off the ice. Now, you can add a piece of this historic event to your collection - or start your collection!

Jaime Bourbonnais wore this white jersey while playing for PWHL New York during the inaugural PWHL Player Evaluation Camp.

PWHL New York played three games during the Evaluation Camp, defeating PWHL Montreal, 4-0, on December 4, defeating PWHL Ottawa, 2-1, in the Fan Fest game on December 5 that was open to the public, and defeating PWHL Toronto, 6-4, on December 7.

Bourbonnais was wearing this jersey when she assisted on New York’s only goal of the Fan Fest game on December 5, 2023 against PWHL Ottawa at the Nexus Center in Utica, NY. With less than five minutes in regulation, Bourbonnais provided the assist on Alex Carpenter's power play goal that tied the game at 1. In front of the first fans to watch PWHL teams compete, New York was able to complete the comeback win with a 2-1 victory after the shootout.

Bourbonnais wore this jersey again when she scored the overtime goal on December 7, 2023 against PWHL Toronto. Although the game finished 5-4 in regulation, all exhibition camp games also included a five minute overtime period. A goal there would have allowed Toronto to tie the score and possibly win in the shootout. Bourbonnais’ goal at 3:13 of the overtime period, assisted by Elizabeth Giguere, put a stop to those hopes. New York earned another point in a dramatic eight-round shootout and finished with a 7-4 victory, becoming one of two teams to sweep their games in the camp.

New York’s second selection in the inaugural PWHL draft, Jaime Bourbonnais owns two medals from IIHF World Championships with Team Canada as well as a gold medal from the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. The 25-year-old defender is a graduate from Cornell University, where she finished third in the nation for scoring from the blue line in her senior year and was named a finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial award.

Every jersey worn by each of these participating MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program clubs contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MGG Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
