This red jersey with the Washington Capitals' 40th Anniversary patch was prepared for use by Jack Hillen during the 2014-15 National Hockey League season.
Hillen had five assists in 38 games for the Capitals in 2014-15, but he did not wear this jersey.
The Washington Capitals wore their Red Set 3 jerseys from March 5, 2015 through April 8, 2015 and during the first and second rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
