Welcome to the Boston Bruins Winter Classic Jersey Auction!
The Bruins defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins, 2-1, in the 2023 Winter Classic at Fenway Park in Boston, MA. It was the third time the Bruins hosted the Winter Classic, and their fourth appearance in the annual NHL event.
The Bruins' jerseys paid homage to several different eras. Black and gold, of course, are the jersey's primary colors. The light beige and laced neck invoke a throwback feel, while the front font comes from the Spoked "B" jersey of the 1940s. The bear crest below it was the Bruins' secondary logo from 1976 through 1995. Finally, the horizontal stripes resembled both the 1950s home and away uniforms.
