Welcome to the Inaugural Professional Women's Hockey League Evaluation Camp-Worn Jersey Auction.
The PWHL-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the jersey worn by #30 Corinne Schroeder of the PWHL New York during the inaugural PWHL Player Evaluation Camp.
The six PWHL teams descended upon Utica, NY's Nexus Center for four days of exhibition games, with each team playing three games. MeiGray staff was in attendance to authenticate when these jerseys were worn, and to take them straight off the ice. Now, you can add a piece of this historic event to your collection - or start your collection!
Corinne Schroeder wore this white jersey while playing for PWHL New York during the inaugural PWHL Player Evaluation Camp.
PWHL New York played three games during the Evaluation Camp, defeating PWHL Montreal, 4-0, on December 4, defeating PWHL Ottawa, 2-1, in the Fan Fest game on December 5 that was open to the public, and defeating PWHL Toronto, 6-4, on December 7.
Schroeder was wearing this jersey when she earned the win in the Fan Fest game on December 5, 2023 against PWHL Ottawa. Facing 40 shots during regulation and the overtime period, Schroeder allowed only one goal in the first period. Following a 1-1 tie, the game went to a five-round shootout. Schroeder made four of five saves, backstopping her team to the comeback victory. She was awarded First Star of the Game honors for her performance.
Corinne Schroeder was selected by New York in the sixth round of the inaugural PWHL draft after spending her first professional season with the Boston Pride of the PHF. Schroeder was named Rookie of the Year and Goaltender of the Year in 2023 after finishing with a 19-1-0 record, seven shutouts, and leading the league in save percentage, goals against average, and saves. Schroeder spent four years at Boston University and one year with Quinnipiac University. She was named to her first roster for the Canadian national team in the November 2023 Rivalry Series.
Every jersey worn by each of these participating MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program clubs contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MGG Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
