This is the puck that was used by Zach Hyman to score the 192nd goal of his NHL career. The goal, Hyman’s 43rd of the season, was scored at 1:11 of the 2nd period and was assisted by Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. The assist was McDavid’s 100th point of the 2023-24 season. The Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 4-2, on March 7, 2024 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.
In 2023-24, McDavid tallied his third season in a row with over 123 points and hit triple digits with 100 assists, opting to create more than shoot. He was also +35, a new career high, and had a ridiculous 63 helpers at even strength as he led the Edmonton Oilers to their first Stanley Cup Final appearance in 18 years.
