Connor McDavid wore these white adidas socks throughout the Edmonton Oilers' 5-0 victory over the Washington Capitals on November 24, 2023 at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. McDavid recorded four assists in the game, reaching a number of franchise and league milestones which are noted below. The socks are photo-matched.
On November 24, 2023, McDavid recorded his 38th career game with three or more assists, tying Jarri Kurri for the third-most in Oilers history. It was his 33rd career four-point game, tying Dale Hawerchuk for the seventh-most in NHL history at age 26 of younger. With three of the assists coming in the second period, McDavid reached 22 three-point periods and passed Glenn Anderson for the fourth-most such periods in Oilers history. He also became the tenth player on record (since 1933-34) to post three or more powerplay points in a single period multiple times.

McDavid surpassed his previous career high in assists just 67 games into the 2023-24 National Hockey League season, surpassing 90 helpers for the first time. He also cleared 100 points for the fourth season in a row and for the seventh time in eight years. He currently ranks third all-time in career points per game with over 1.5, behind only Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux.
