The stick is photo-matched to McDavid's 49th goal of the season, scored during a 3-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on February 27, 2023 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB. The goal was scored at 2:17 and assisted by Leon Draisaitl. McDavid scored his 50th goal of the season in the game, as well, with a different stick.
It has been exclusively authorized for authentication and distribution by the Connor McDavid-Edmonton Oilers-MeiGray Group Game-Used Equipment Program, designed to protect the integrity of the dynamic NHL superstar's game-used items.

This stick, collected by MGG from the Oilers on October 26, 2021, has been been registered with hologram number MGA34692. The hologram has been affixed to the shaft of the stick.
The stick, which has navy tape on the knob, bears the CCM serial number 98509629 on the shaft.

He earned the Maurice Richard Trophy for the league's top goal scorer, the Art Ross Trophy for the league's top point scorer, the Ted Lindsay Award for the league's most outstanding player as selected by the NHLPA, and the Hart Memorial Trophy for the most valuable player as selected by hockey media.
