McDavid was selected to captain the Pacific Division for the third straight season. The All-Star Game is a 3-on-3 format with four divisions competing for the title, consisting of a Central, Pacific, Atlantic, and Metropolitan team.
In the 2019 NHL All-Star Skills Competition, McDavid won the fastest skater competition with a time of 13.378 seconds, winning for the second straight year. He’s the only player to have won three consecutive fastest skater competitions and currently holds the first, second, and fourth fastest times of all time.
