Claire Dalton wore this cream jersey while playing for PWHL Montreal during the Professional Women's Hockey League's inaugural 2024 season, including during the team's inaugural game against PWHL Ottawa on January 2, 2024 at TD Place in Ottawa, ON. Montreal won the game in overtime, 3-2, in front of a sellout crowd of 8,138, which set a new attendance record for professional women's hockey.
Dalton scored the first goal in team history during the inaugural game. The jersey is photo-matched to Montreal's 4-3 shootout loss to PWHL New York on February 21, 2024 at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY.
PWHL Montreal wore this first set of cream jerseys in seven games from January 2, 2024 through February 21, 2024.
Dalton tied for second on the team with five goals and added four assists in 20 games during 2024. The former Yale captain joined PWHL Montreal as the all-time leading scorer for the Bulldogs. She was the recipient of the Molly Meyer Humanitarian Award in her senior year and earned a bronze medal at the 2018 IIHF U18 World Championship with Team Canada.
