Catherine Daoust wore this cream jersey while playing for PWHL Montreal during the Professional Women's Hockey League's inaugural 2024 season, including during the team's inaugural game against PWHL Ottawa on January 2, 2024 at TD Place in Ottawa, ON. Montreal won the game in overtime, 3-2, in front of a sellout crowd of 8,138, which set a new attendance record for professional women's hockey. The jersey is photo-matched to that game.
PWHL Montreal wore this first set of cream jerseys in seven games from January 2, 2024 through February 21, 2024.
Daoust scored one goal with one assist without missing a game in 2024. Daoust joined PWHL Montreal after serving as an alternate captain for the Montreal Force of the PHF in 2023. She also spent three years with the PWHPA and one year with the Montreal Canadiennes in the CWHL. Daoust spent four years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and served as alternate captain in her senior year. She won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 2013 IIHF U18 World Championship.
