Welcome to USA Hockey-MeiGray Group's NTDP Under-18 Team ‘96 Throwback Salute To Heroes Game-Worn Jersey Auction.
USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, based in Ann Arbor, MI, is a full-time development program to prepare student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers.
The U.S. National Under-18 Team, part of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, plays a full schedule that includes games against United States Hockey League foes, NCAA Division I and III opponents, and international games.
On March 19 and March 20, 2022, for Heroes Appreciation Weekend, the Under-18 Team took to the ice wearing unique ‘96 Throwback Salute To Heroes Game-Worn Jerseys while facing the Cedar Rapids Roughriders at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. Team USA defeated the Roughriders, 7-4, on March 19, and 9-1 on March 20.
Team USA also wore these unique ’96 Throwback jerseys on February 2, 2022 in the 2021-22 College Series. Team USA fell to the nationally ranked Michigan Wolverines, 4-3 in OT, at the historic Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and on February 4, 2022 in Team USA’s 9-8 victory over the Muskegon Lumberjacks at USA Hockey Arena.
One set of ‘96 Throwback Salute To Heroes Game-Worn Jerseys were produced and worn in the four games. There are 24 game-worn jerseys up for bid.
The jerseys are manufactured by SP Apparel. The set of jerseys was collected after the games by Team USA's equipment staff. Each jersey offered in auction has been security-tagged with an individually serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag.
Each jersey sold in auction will be accompanied by a generic red pants shell with the Team USA logo, not necessarily worn by the player whose jersey has been bid.
This auction is for the actual ‘96 Throwback Salute To Heroes Game-Worn Jersey worn by #8, Brady Berard on February 2 & 4 and March 19 & 20. Berard signed this jersey after the final game.
Berard wore this jersey in all 4 games. He has committed to play for Providence College.
This blue jersey, a Size 56, has been registered in the USA Hockey-MeiGray Game-Worn Authentication Program as number USA02820.
While on the NTDP U-17 roster, Brady Cleveland, Ryan Leonard, Trey Augustine, Will Smith, and Oliver Moore played with the NTDP U-18 team while wearing these ’96 Throwback game-worn jerseys. Kaden Muir of the NTDP U-18 team also played for the NTDP U-17 team while wearing this ’96 Throwback game-worn jersey.
Proceeds will benefit USA Hockey.
