Welcome to The District's Championship Collection. The Capitals are pushing for the Playoffs having cemented their long-term home in Washington, D.C. This auction celebrates the Capitals' place at home and their 2018 Stanley Cup Championship with a selection of game-used items from the team's most successful era and its biggest heroes.

This is the puck that was used by Alex Ovechkin to score the 280th goal of his NHL career. The goal, Ovechkin's 11th of the season, was scored at 19:11 of the second period and was assisted by Alexander Semin and John Carlson. The Atlanta Thrashers defeated the Washington Capitals, 3-1, on December 4, 2010 at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
