The Flyers supported the National Hockey League's Hockey Fights Cancer initiative on Sunday April 18 when they hosted the New York Islanders at Wells Fargo Center.
The Flyers-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the actual jersey worn by #23 Nicolas Aube-Kubel of the Philadelphia Flyers during pre-game warm-ups for the Flyers' Hockey Fights Cancer Night.
For the sixth time in the organization's history, Flyers players wore limited-edition black and lavender warm-up jerseys with the "Hockey Fights Cancer" patch affixed to the left arm. This season each Flyer honored teammate Oskar Lindblom, who recently recovered from Ewing’s Sarcoma, by wearing #23 LINDBLOM on his jersey.
