On a picture-perfect New Year's Day in front of 85,630 at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, the National Hockey League's twelfth annual classic matched two franchises making their Winter Classic debuts. The Dallas Stars defeated the Nashville Predators, 4-2, in the 2020 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic.
On New Year's Eve day, the Predators held a practice on the ice at Cotton Bowl Stadium to experience the unique outdoor rink.
