On January 18, 2020 the U.S. National Under-17 Team took to the ice wearing Spongebob Square Pants themed jerseys against the Lincoln Stars at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. Lincoln Stars defeated Team USA, 5-2.
Proceeds will benefit C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.
The jerseys are manufactured by SP Apparel. The set of jerseys was collected after the game by Team USA's equipment staff. Each jersey offered in auction has been security-tagged with an individually serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag.
This auction is for the actual Spongebob Square Pants jersey worn by #58, Justin Janicke. Janicke signed this jersey after the game.
