The Kraken became the 32nd NHL team when they opened their Inaugural Season vs. the Vegas Golden Knights on October 12, 2021 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The Golden Knights defeated the Kraken, 4-3.
The Kraken-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program is proud to offer fans and collectors across the globe the opportunity to own a piece of history ... the jersey worn by #72 Joonas Donskoi during the first period of this historic event. The Kraken wore a different jersey in warmup and each of the three periods.
Each jersey has an 2021-22 Inaugural Season Patch on the front and an Inaugural Game Period Patch inside the hem.
This white jersey is a Size 56 and is registered into the Kraken-MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as number U00171.
Every jersey worn by each of the participating MeiGray Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program clubs contains a uniquely numbered inventory tag sewn into the jersey BEFORE IT IS WORN BY THE PLAYER ON THE ICE. This tag is equipped with covert security features regularly checked by MGG Program Directors so we can tell who wore the jersey, and when.
