This double-sided banner, honoring Philadelphia Flyers legend and 1990 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, #7 Bill Barber, hung in the Wells Fargo Center rafters from 2012 to 2016.
Drafted by the Flyers with the seventh overall pick in the 1972 draft, Bill Barber had 30 goals and 34 assists in his rookie season and was a contender for the Calder Memorial Trophy. Barber was part of the legendary LCB Line, playing left wing along side of Bobby Clarke and Reggie Leach. Barber won Stanley Cup Championships in 1974 and 1975. Barber played 903 National Hockey League regular season games (420 goals, 463 assists, 883 points, 623 penalty minutes) and 129 games in the Stanley Cup playoffs (53 goals, 55 assists, 108 points, 109 penalty minutes) and is the Flyers' all-time leading goal scorer.
Barber’s #7 was retired by the Flyers on October 7, 1990.
